PixelUp User Guide
Welcome to PixelUp! This professional AI-powered tool allows you to enhance and upscale your videos using advanced deep learning models. Follow these simple steps to get started:
Step 1: Add Your Video
* Click the **"Add Video"** button at the bottom left.
* Select the video files you wish to enhance (Supported formats: .mp4, .mkv, .avi, .mov, .wmv).
* Once added, the software automatically analyzes the video's resolution and frame rate, displaying them in the task list.
Step 2: Configure AI Settings
Before processing, adjust the settings using the dropdown menus:
* **AI Model**:
* **ESPCN (Fast)**: Optimized for speed.
* **FSRCNN (Balanced)**: A great balance between speed and quality.
* **EDSR (Ultra)**: Highest quality output (requires more processing time).
* **LapSRN (High)**: High-fidelity reconstruction.
* **Scale**: Choose your desired upscaling factor (**x2, x3, or x4**).
Step 3: Start Processing
* Click **"Start Processing"** to begin the AI enhancement.
* **Hardware Acceleration**: The software automatically detects your hardware. It uses **Vulkan GPU Acceleration** (compatible with NVIDIA, AMD, and Intel) for high-speed rendering. If a compatible GPU is not found, it will safely fall back to CPU mode.
* **Monitoring**: You can track progress via the progress bar and the status label, which shows the completion percentage and frame count.
Step 4: Locate Your Enhanced Video
* **Save Location**: PixelUp saves the processed video in the **same folder** as your original source file.
* **File Naming**: To make it easy to find, the new file will be named with the suffix **`_PixelUp`**.
* *Example: If your input is `movie.mp4`, the enhanced version will be `movie_PixelUp.mp4`.*
Step 5: Control & Stop
* If you need to cancel a task, click the **"Stop"** button. The program will terminate the process and automatically clean up temporary files to save disk space.
